The UZ Library encourages the use of the InCites tool

InCites is a tool from Clarivate that allows you to perform bibliometric analyzes based on data indexed in Web of Science Core and Journal Citation Reports. InCites allows authors to determine the impact of their scientific achievements, establish cooperation with scientists from other universities and choose an appropriate source for publishing the results of their research.

We can analyze the organization (e.g. university, institute), the achievements of specific researchers, research area, journals, organizations financing scientific research, as well as a given country or region. The tool intuitively allows you to generate a report (in tabular or graphical form) that includes several dozen bibliometric indicators, including: number of citations, Hirsch index, most frequently cited publications, percentage of publications available in open access. Depending on the purpose of the analysis, we can customize the report using numerous filters.
